Initial Contact team

The Initial Contact Team are the first point of contact for all Adult Social Care telephone calls and emails.

They are responsible for:

• Conducting strengths-based conversations;
• Providing information, advice and guidance;
• Building knowledge of, and connections with local community resources;
• Providing initial screening of contacts to determine if there is likely need for further assessment.
